About Mark Seghers
Mark Seghers advises healthcare, insurance, and health technology organizations on artificial intelligence, consumer decision support, Medicare and ACA innovation, digital distribution, predictive analytics, and growth strategy.
His work sits at the intersection of healthcare, insurance, technology, and consumer experience. He helps organizations use data, predictive analytics, and AI to improve how consumers shop for health coverage while creating stronger outcomes for agencies, carriers, marketers, and healthcare organizations.
Mark is the Founder and CEO of Inspire Health Tech, where he pioneered the concept of Plan Before Agent. Inspire's predictive analytics platform helps consumers identify the health plan expected to deliver the lowest total out-of-pocket cost based on their unique health profile before connecting them with an agent who specializes in that plan. His work is helping redefine how health insurance is marketed, purchased, and distributed.
Throughout his career, Mark has held executive leadership roles spanning health insurance carriers, digital marketplaces, InsurTech companies, and venture-backed startups. His experience includes leadership positions with American Medical Security, Assurance, Norvax (later GoHealth), Connecture, Milliman, and multiple entrepreneurial ventures focused on healthcare technology, digital distribution, predictive analytics, and consumer engagement.
Mark also co-founded the Insurance Marketing Coalition and the Lead Quality Alliance, wherein he has worked with industry leaders to improve transparency, consumer trust, responsible marketing, and the long-term evolution of insurance distribution. His industry leadership reflects the same philosophy he brings to VHealth: innovation should improve the consumer experience while creating measurable value for every participant in the healthcare ecosystem.
Across more than three decades in the industry, Mark has consistently focused on one objective: helping people be more efficient and make better decisions through better technology. His approach combines deep insurance expertise with practical product development, strategic partnerships, and a belief that artificial intelligence should enhance human decision-making rather than replace it.
